Net-talking Toaster

A toaster that can print anything onto a piece of bread from Swedish manufacturer Electrolux. designers invented a toaster that can burn pretty much anything onto your morning slice, including the news.

The Scan Toaster connects to a PC over USB and downloads everything from local weather conditions and the current time to the morning’s news headlines.

Designed by Atil Kizilbayir this is one of the coolest toasters I’ve ever seen. The toaster is designed to work like a heated tunnel, you put plain bread into the toasting carriage at one end, the ‘x’ seconds later the carriage pops out the other end with nicely tanned toast.

Sunrise is a toaster which is hung on the wall. Many kitchens, especially in New York City, do not have windows. The residents rarely see the sun shine in the kitchen even in the daytime.This toaster represents the sun.While bread is toasting, light comes out of the toaster.The light is brightest, when the bread is ready to eat.
