CLEVER stands for Compact Low Emissions Vehicle for Urban Transport. This TRON-esque 3 wheeled wonder is about 10 ft long, 3.3 ft wide and 4.4 feet high and weighs 870lbs.

The wheelbase is 2450 mm, the track width is 835 mm. At the front there is a 17″ wheel whilst at the rear there are two 18″ wheels. As a result of its low width the vehicle is designed to tilt when cornering and has a computer-controlled hydraulic rolling system which results in a driving experience with zero lateral forces at tilting angles of up to 45°, similar to riding a motorcycle.

The Uno is a segway/motorcycle mashup. Technically it has two wheels, but they’re right next to each other and it does balance on them under its own power.

The incredible engine mod, which took nine long months to complete, runs for real. The pistons pump the water through the system to cool the components. The guy started the project with the provisional name HDV2 and later christened it V2 as he wasn’t allowed to use the name Harley Davidson for his V2. Anyway, what’s there in the name? There are quite a few Harley Davidson motorcycle pieces in the mod, including the chromed out exhaust pipes. The company XFX supported the fellow with two GeForce 7900GT while AQUATUNING provided the needed water cooling components.

RoboScooter - Clean, Green Mobility for Today’s Crowded Cities

The RoboScooter is a lightweight, folding, electric motor scooter. It is designed to provide convenient, inexpensive mobility in urban areas while radically reducing the negative effects of extensive vehicle use – road congestion, excessive consumption of space for parking, traffic noise, air pollution, carbon emissions that exacerbate global warming, and energy use. It is clean, green, silent, and compact.

Design/Architecture
The ESI has a frameless chassis with unique suspension design at both ends of the bike. The front and rear suspension use torsion springs fitted on the swingarm pivots and F1 spec dampers mounted directly between swingarm and engine.

Front suspension is a common double wishbone arrangement. However, for ES1, the lower wishbone is a composite single-sided swingarm. The unique aspect of our design is the way we mount the handlebars from the fork rather than from the frame – providing a very direct connection between handlebars and front wheel for front tire feel.

At the rear the carbon fiber swingarm has a slender section between the gearbox and the rear wheel to create the narrow position we need for ES1’s aerodynamic and ergonomic concepts.

This new Renovatio concept built by Confederate Motor Company has one of the most unique designs for a motorcycle I have ever seen. The bike itself features a 1688cc, 135bhp v-twin engine, LED lamps, and a suspension made of titanium and carbon fiber. The word Renovatio means rebirth, a very appropriate name for this concept considering the company who designed it, Confederate Motor Company had their headquarters destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. However despite the unfortunate setback the company still plans to release the bike in 2008 currently with a undisclosed price tag.

William Heath came up with the idea for Lilybug after the tragic death of his friend, Lily, after a collision with a drunk driver. Lilybug donates a percentage of their proceeds to Lilybug Foundation – which financially aids families hurt by drunk drivers – and MADD.

eCycle, Inc. and Machineart have collaborated on the design of a new hybrid motorcycle
platform concept for the aftermarket.

The Concept eCycle is a series hybrid featuring the eCycle SolidSlot? brushless motor/generator that can be used with variety of small displacement gas and diesel engines. The motorcycle operates much like a hybrid automobile in which both the engine and electric motor operate efficiently together. The electric motor is used for torque demands such as acceleration and passing and the gas or diesel motor for cruising and charging the batteries. It can be programmed for all electric operation for limited distances.

Pierluigi Marconi?s center-hub steering Bimota TESI (named because it was indeed his Mech.E thesis) hit the world in 1990 as the Bimota TESI 1D and created a sensation. Though Marconi has since moved on from Bimota, the third incarnation of the completely redesigned machine went on display recently as the 3D.
