USB Engagement Ring Flash Drive

Swarovski have partnered with someone to offer up this USB engagement ring. There even appears to be two different models, but this ring would allow you to carry around a certain amount of data in your engagement ring.

The glitzy Swarovski baubles, which come in a variety of cuts and sizes, come off the top of the ring to reveal the USB stick. If you’ve got dainty hands, it comes with a necklace so you can always wear it around your neck instead.

This exquisite chess set is constructed of gold and platinum and it is decorated with 73 rubies, 146 sapphires and no less than 748 diamonds. Each piece is made from 18 carat yellow gold and encrusted with precious stones. The king alone is worth more than ?100,000. Apparently, there will be a limited number of replica sets selling for about $26,700.

All watches sport an 18kt white or yellow gold timepiece, designed with a unique orbital dial face with roman numerals, a triangular diamond indicator, and transparent sapphire case back displaying the mechanism.

Each motif sits atop a guilloche decorated domed plate.

The meticulously hand crafted one-of a-kind design is fitted with interchangeable galuchat watchstraps in complementing colors with an 18kt. gold guilloche buckled clasp.

32 rooms and common spaces for a new Luxury Design Hotel.

Hotel Puerta America is a new radical design hotel in Madrid.
A different architect/interior designer of international standing has been commissioned to create each floor of the hotel, giving free rein to their creativity in the development of the rooms and floor as a whole. The list includes Foster and Partners, Zaha Hadid, Chipperfield, Jean Nouvel, Arata Isozaki, Ron Arad, John Pawson etc.
The hotel has 13 floors with 30 rooms, 1200 sqm per floor.
Plasma Studio has been commissioned for the fourth floor.

Japanese has another weird USB hub idea - a gold ingot USB hub. Weighing at 2.4kg, the 8-port USB hub is the heaviest in its category even though it doesn’t have an ounce of gold. All ports point to the same direction, but at such weight, the hub will unlikely to trip over even with USB dongles occupying the ports. The manufacturer Thanko listed the hub at ?5,980 or $52.
