Nokia Prism 7900 and 7500

Nokia unveiled the Prism collection, its latest range of mobile phones aimed at style-conscious consumers. The Prism collection consists of the Nokia 7900 Prism and the Nokia 7500 Prism, handsets which combine individual style and state-of-the-art technology. The two mobile models will be available in the third quarter of 2007 with an estimated retail price of EUR 400 for the Nokia 7900 Prism and EUR 210 for the Nokia 7500 Prism, before taxes and subsidies.
Nokia Prism collection is highlighted by cutting-edge colors, materials and graphics. Its signature diamond-cut design, featuring sharp angled lines, geometric patterns and graphic light-refracting colors, ensure these models stand out in the mobile phone market.

NEC Tag Concept Phone: The Future Is Bendy

Just when we thought we’d seen it all in the way of concept cell-phone designs, NEC comes out and surprises us. The company’s Design division has thought up the “tag” ? a phone that has more in common with Gumby than the slick, shiny phones of today. Made of rubbery “shape-memorizing” material, the tag will bend and twist at your command. Forget extra armbands ? the thing is an armband. It’s too bad the tag is just a concept right now, as it would be the perfect phone for the forgetful and the accident-prone. Once NEC gets this into production (no plans right now, apparently), you can bet it’ll have to prove its mettle overseas before it makes it over here. You know, like every other mobile phone ever made.
