Bluetooth Boom Bench

German designer Michael Schoner of NL Architects has ingeniously designed a bench that plays music from mobile phones via Bluetooth. NL architects have converted an ordinary piece of street furniture into a superb sound system.

The bench was on display at the Urban Play event 2 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, last month.

Problem is most of today’s headphones are designed to filter out background noise. That’s not very safe for a bicyclists since hearing what’s coming is important. The Semicircle headphones are designed to fit in your ear without blocking background noise.

Bluetooth Umbrella is simply an umbrella with a bluetooth enabled handle for handsfree operation with your mobile phone. It also doubles as radio so you can totally go “singing in the rain.”

In addition, it also comes with an integrated FM radio to allow you to stay entertained despite the gloomy weather all around.

Eva Longoria Parker and Brooke Shields are said to have this Bluetooth earpiece (in black) by Plantronics. Set to make their debut this April, the “Discovery 925″ feminine earpieces are comfortable, lightweight and much more sleeker than your average Bluetooth headset. A Japanese company has unveiled a new device that will allow people “speak” through their ear so they can use their mobile telephones in noisy areas.

The device - named “e-Mimi-kun” (good ear boy) - doubles as an earphone and a microphone by detecting air vibrations inside the ear, developer NS-ELEX said.

The earpiece and an accompanying device can be connected to a mobile phone, or wirelessly to a Bluetooth handset, so that users no longer have to cover their mouths when speaking in a loud environment, the company said.
