Audi O Car Concept

The 2008 Audi O concept was designed by Ondrej Jirec, a design student from the Czech Republic who is beginning studies at the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California in 2008.

With a built-in 650 GB hard drive and an internet connection, you can download all the music you can ever listen to and what’s more, the Bluetooth system lets you connect to other Audi O cars so that the music being played in your car can be heard on their speakers.

The design of the Veyron honors a great heritage without drifting off into retro style. Every detail of the classic two-tone color scheme, a quote from the 1920s and 1930s, has been carefully thought out, resulting in the typical Bugatti profile with the classic, contrasting ellipsis – the stylistic element used by Ettore Bugatti himself. The “crest line”, which runs uninterrupted from the hood to the only 1.21-m-high roof, is a proud homage to the Veyron’s forebears. Thus, the Veyron’s classic paintwork and harmonious design connect this state-of-the-art super sports car to the glorious heritage of Bugatti automobiles.

SAM is a Swiss award-winning and patented Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) designed and developed by Cree Ltd. SAM is at prototype stage and approved for all public roads.

The Antro Solo from Hungary is a gas-electric hybrid car with a unique power arrangement that also utilizes solar energy.

While the Antro Solo is obviously in the prototype phase, many of its technologies are fascinating. To keep weight low, it’s built entirely out of carbon fiber and composites. The engine is a gas-electric hybrid with a twist. A large array of roof-mounted photo-cells can charge the battery to extend the EV range. The Solo comes with pedals that each passenger can crank in order to charge the battery.

Italian coachbuilder Aznom used the recent Top Marques Monaco event to unveil its new ‘Chateau’ hatch based on the new Mini Clubman S. The custom Mini will be produced in a limited run of just 12 examples and will keep the elegant wood trim and shockproof wine cellar (capable of holding six bottles) of the concept model.

The MINI Chateau is based on the MINI Clubman S, made its world debut at the recent Top Marques show in Monaco, will be limited to just 12 units and radiates exclusivity and luxury with its wood trims and miniature, shock absorbant wine cellar (room for 6 bottles and chalices) in the trunk.

Most of us know when we see an ‘M’ on the back of the BMW passing us on the freeway, there’s virtually no way we’re going to catch up. The ‘M’ division BMW has recently revealed its latest concept – a tribute to their first mid-engine supercar originally manufactured by collaborative efforts of BMW and Lamborghini thirty years ago – the M1.

Since the Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este, in the lake Como, in Italy was revived by BMW in 1999, BMW has shown few concept cars there but none have made it into production.

Mazda Motor Corporation will showcase the European specification of the Mazda Taiki, the fourth concept car in the Nagare design series, at the 2008 Beijing International Motor Show.

The structure of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 gave the designers the idea of finishing the car in its pure material configuration – meaning no colour coating. The result is the Bugatti EB 16.4. Veyron “Pur Sang”, a two-tone study of pure materialness showing the car’s true essentials: carbon and aluminium.

Citroën C-Cactus is a diesel/electric hybrid car that is made up of 40% less parts than a car of similar size. Most of the parts are made of recycled material.

Citroën is unveiling C-Cactus at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. This ingenious concept is a new take on vehicle design, centered on essential values. The Marque’s ambitious aim is to market an ecological hatchback with cheerful, attractive styling, equipped with a hybrid HDi drivetrain and sold at the same price as an entry-level C4.
