The super creative Leo Burnett ad agency, Chicago created this awesome beyond words Giant Egg billboard for McDonald’s. It was installed last week across from Wrigley field in Chicago.

The giant egg billboard starts cracking and opening up in the wee hours of morning. By breakfast time, the egg has already hatched, and you can see “Fresh Eggs Daily” written on the egg’s yolk.

“The idea was to meld high-tech with craftsman styling and pushing ‘Steam Punk’ in an elegant way. For the technology side, there are integrated digital amplifiers with special drivers and a proprietary port to allow this to be your complete sound system. All you have to do is plug it in, throw away your old ‘boxy’ speakers and enjoy.

These “101% Handcrafted” ads for the Italian boot company Buttero are fabulous looking. The prosthetic hands - stuck on shoe-making machinery - have an industrial goth look. They’re also a reminder that Buttero boots are made with tender loving human hands.
The ad campaign won a Silver in the Outdoor category at Cannes Lions this year.

Award-winning creative architect duo Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen at molo design in Vancouver, Canada, are not discouraged by this.
