E-Paper Blu Jacket by Lunar Design

E-paper technology has been tantalizing our minds and imaginations with each new, fascinating development that crops up.

Lunar Design wants to turn you into a walking billboard. The Blu Jacket is a design concept that uses flexible organic e-paper to show passersby your mood, subway maps as you see here, or can even play video advertisements to annoy (or enlighten) everyone in sight. Reminding us of Blade Runner, it’s a concept that could be used for good or ill.

This BLU Jacket also has a GPS module built into it. So, if you walking down the lane and someone asks you directions, you could be able to project a map onto your jacket’s sleeve through it’s flexible display and give directions, replete with imagery.
